This course is designed to prepare the student for work in the maritime security industry and has been developed for field operatives in maritime security awareness and emergency response training. STCW95/10 certificates will be required for those wishing to work in this field.

The course is made up of courses STCW95/10, Maritime Security, Maritime Firearms.

Safe handling of Firearms

Due Diligence

Due diligence must be carried out on all personnel before attending as laid down by Security Investigation & Risk Solutions Ltd and the Security Companies. Therefore the following items must be met before Signing up:

You must produce an original Current Criminal Record Background Check CRB/DBS (dated within the last Three months)
In date Passport or driving licence.
Every individual must supply 2 Passport photographs with their name on the back.

Awarding Body

Skill Prerequisites

A candidate must be Ex-Military or Police other candidates may apply but please confirm beforehand.
Must be able to communicate clearly and have a baseline level of English and maths at level 1.
This qualification is approved for delivery to learners aged 18 and over.
Due Diligence

Assessment Method

All test will be completed in English if not stated otherwise.
All students will undergo a number of multiple-choice question exams and ongoing Theoretical and Practical Assessments
